La distilleria Chamarel di Île Maurice dà vita a questo rum distillato a colonna. L' invecchiamento avviene in due fasi: prima un passaggio in botti di rovere francese e come ultimo passaggio in botti che hanno contenuto Sherry Pablo Cortado.
Il naso è fresco con sentori di frutti rossi mentre al palato sono subite percepibili note di frutta tropicale, fiori bianchi e spezie dolci, rotonde e piacevoli. Il finale è solitamente corto, sottilmente secco e lascia un palato fresco.
